ASHI Certified Inspector # 251770
We want you to have the clearest possible picture of the home you're considering buying or selling. That's our job.
Whether you're "the family handyman" or someone looking for a home in move-in condition, you need to know if the house you're considering is right for you. That's why our inspections exceed, not just meet, the rigorous standards of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
- A detailed Inspection Report with photos, sent to you and your agent while we're there with you at the house,
- A thorough, walk-through debriefing by your inspector,
- Unlimited telephone support afterwards, and
- A 100% money-back guarantee.
"Thank you for the great work you do for us and our clients. I always feel confident that your inspections are done very thoroughly, thoughtfully and in detail. You enjoy your work and it shows."
Selling? Let us perform a Seller's Consultation on your home before you put it on the market.
Let's face it. Your buyer will have an inspector who will be looking at your home very carefully. What if you could know what the inspector is going to say in advance?
We'll inspect your home with the exact same scrutiny as for a buyer, which puts you in the driver's seat. This lets you manage the sale of your property more effectively by knowing about any items that need repairs.
Real Estate Professionals: We understand the pressures of the home-buying process.
We excel at delivering our findings in an honest, low-key manner. If we discover major defects, we point them out in a matter-of-fact way and suggest solutions However, we don't turn the many small issues we always seem to find into major ones. This approach helps ensure that your client is well-informed but not unnecessarily alarmed over minor concerns.
Our philosophy is that "every home is perfect for someone," and "homes, like people, are never perfect." You don't need an inspector who either creates unnecessary stress over small issues or one who drives your client away over issues he or she already knew about. We combine respect for your and your clients' judgement with what we feel is the best inspection you can get.
"Bob has done a great job inspecting our clients' homes. I highly recommend him."

Investors: If you bought that house at an auction, you need us!
We handle these inspections as though we were an extremely picky home buyer, and you receive a "virtual punchlist" indicating what repairs are needed. This saves you time since you can start renovations immediately, and it helps avoid expensive, disruptive surprises when it's time to sell.
"I really liked the low-key way you handled the inspection. You seemed able to anticipate the client's concerns and answered them in a professional manner. I will definitely refer you in the future."
Julia Brennan, Realtor®
We're also proud to perform inspections for NACA, the Neighborhood Association Corporation of America!
We're one of only a handful of inspection firms in Virginia qualified to perform inspections for NACA. We're thoroughly familiar with their inspection and rehabilitation procedures, plus we've been trained on their proprietary home inspection software. Please note that these inspections require a great deal of time to prepare, but we upload them to your NACA counselor the same day.
Realtors: If you have a NACA client, we can make the process much easier!
